The Elton John AIDS Foundation calls us up and they’re like, “Sir Elton John would like to sell over 3,000+ items from his personal wardrobe on eBay…”
And we’re like….. say less.
Working alongside eBay and the Elton John AIDS foundation, we launched Rocket Man Resale. A pre-loved fashion shop from the personal collection of Elton John and some of his fabulously famous friends.
Clothing came from the legend’s Atlanta closet with 100% of the profits going directly to benefit his charity.
With an inventory ranging from archival Gianni Versace, custom Allessandro Michele Gucci and unbelievably rare sample clothes from designers and houses such as Yohji Yamamoto, Prada, Goyard, Louis Vuitton and more— we had more than enough clothes to not only fill up the pages of eBay’s website, but to also fill up an entire shop in the West Village.
